I use the words, art, and life interchangeably. You cannot have one without the other. You cannot have art without life and you cannot have life without art.

Norman Lerner is a prize-winning American painter and photographer whose works have been exhibited nationally. Describing his art as having always been eclectic, his interest lies in the landscape, as well as people, fashion, and street photography. Lerner's current compositions are inspired by Japanese figurative art from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. He creates in a spontaneous and chaotic manner, employing acrylics, oils, and gilding on canvas.
