Alice Adams Film Episodes Series of 48 no 34. 
Cigarette cards were added to cigarette packages from the 1880s through the 1940s to stiffen the package. Cigarette companies added designs and created numbered series to encourage smokers to collect cards.
Reverse of card reads ""Alice Adams (Radio)" Katharine Hepburn and Fred MacMurray in a scene from "Alice Adams," a romantic American small-town drama. Katharine Hepburn plays the title role of an ambitious girl who attempts to conceal her humble circumstances from her admirer, Arthur Russell, played by Fred MacMurray. Eventually the Adams' invite Arthur to a disastrous dinner-party, when their poverty is made glaringly obvious. In spite of this he declares his love for the distraught Alice and all ends happily."
